    Daniel K. Buck, CLU, ChFC

    Financial Advisor

     

    Dan has been part of the financial services industry since October of 1974. He earned his CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) designation in 1985 and his ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) in 1999. Mr. Buck specializes in working with individuals and local businesses, helping them in areas such as retirement planning, estate planning, and income planning.

    As an industry professional, Dan is a member of the Wichita Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table, recipient of NAIFA's National Quality Award and National Sales Achievement Award, and is always interested in expanding his skills and knowledge.

    Dan’s contributions to his community have included his position as the former president of the Air Capital Cosmopolitan Club where he worked in the Wichita community to raise funds for diabetes awareness. He is active in his church and currently works with the two-year-olds at Newspring Church.

    Dan is an avid golfer and enjoys working with others, traveling to lighthouses, and reading inspiring books. Dan and his wife Madelon reside in Wichita and have four children: Brett, Brian, Bryan, and Alex. Dan’s motto is: “When it comes to your insurance needs, save with the Buck!”

    Shawn M. O'Mara, LUTCF

    Financial Advisor

     

    Shawn is an insurance agent and seasoned financial advisor who entered the financial services industry with Schreck Financial Group in 2000.

    Shawn is a member of National Association of Independent Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and also has been honored as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table in Wichita, Kansas.

    With over ten years of experience at Schreck Financial Group, Shawn has continued to grow his knowledge and skills by learning the industry from the ground up. His goal is to offer top-notch service for his clients in order to help improve their financial situation.

    Shawn’s favorite part of his career is meeting new people and helping individuals improve their personal financial situation. He also specializes in advising business owners, wealth accumulation for individuals, and estate planning for Kansas seniors.

    Shawn married his wife Ginny in 2012 and they have one son, Max. Shawn is a native Kansan who lives in Wichita and enjoys fishing and hunting in the great outdoors.

    Joshua S. Bolan

     

     

    Josh graduated from Friends University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1998. After college, he worked for a mortgage banker in Kansas City, and in 2004, he joined his stepfather Brad Schreck at Schreck Financial Group.

    Josh has long lasting relationships with many of the area’s leading medical schools where his primary focus is to help graduating residents and CRNAs make certain they start their career off with a solid financial foundation. Josh gives these professionals access to industry leading, exclusively endorsed, group discounted disability income benefits. Building on that foundation, he then assists these professionals with more tax efficient methods for accumulating wealth for retirement. Josh also works with businesses owners to protect their business operations and develop cost effective business continuation strategies.

    An active participant in the industry, Josh is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors where he has served the board as the disability chairman.

    Josh’s contributions to his community include his time as an ambassador on the Young Professionals Action Team for the Wichita Chamber of Commerce. He has also helped with Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas, working and assisting students with their business ideas, along with judging the business plan competition.

    He resides in Andover with his two sons, Jackson and Andrew, and he enjoys playing golf, basketball, coaching his boys in sports, and traveling with his family.

    Robert W. Jarman

    Financial Advisor

    Robert has been focused on helping those near and in retirement since 2008. As a key leader on Schreck’s team, Robert has spoken with thousands of Kansans across the state regarding their options related to their healthcare related benefits in retirement.

    While Robert enjoys ensuring his clients are getting the maximum from their health benefits, he is passionate about helping people near and in retirement with a wide range of needs, focusing on helping people implement lifetime income strategies built to effectively replace one’s income in retirement, many times relieving the concern of potentially outliving their assets. Through Robert's dedication to his clients, he was honored by achieving Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) status in 2014, 2015 & 2016. 

    Robert lives in Wichita with his wife Heather and their four children: Kyan, Aryanna, Davion and Isaiah. Robert and Heather are active members of their church, Mending Place Ministries, in Wichita. He is a proud contributor to and Hero Candidate for Real Men Real Heroes, an organization committed to helping young men reach their potential through mentoring, tutoring, and motivational speaking. He enjoys volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as serving on the board for the American Institute of Wine and Food (AIWF) with his wife.

    Ryan W. Dunbar

    Private Wealth Manager / Director of Operations

    Ryan grew up in Valley Center, KS where he learned the Midwestern values of hard work, integrity and life-long relationships. After joining Schreck as an intern in 2008, Ryan graduated from Wichita State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, where he was recognized as a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success. 

    As the Director of Operations and a Private Wealth Manager, Ryan has a strong background in optimization of health benefits, retirement income planning, and tax advantaged wealth distribution strategies. From his upbringing in a small town, he knows the importance of close relationships, and is passionate about helping people find the best solution for their unique situation. In recognition of his contributions to his clients and community, Ryan was selected in 2015 as one of Wichita’s Emerging Leaders by the Wichita Business Journal. 

    When not at work, you will find Ryan enjoying his free time with his wife Alli and their twin boys, Liam and Jase.

    Amy S. Mantelli

    Financial Advisor 

    Amy entered the financial services industry in 2008 after graduating magna cum laude from McPherson College. While obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, she was able to participate in many different organizations including Lambda Pi Eta, Student Government, and Freshmen Mentoring. She was also a member of the McPherson College women’s basketball team for four years where she achieved the NAIA Division II Student Athlete award numerous times.

     As a key member of Schreck’s team, Amy works with people one-on-one to help them find the right options for their healthcare benefits in retirement. In addition to helping keep healthcare costs down for those near and in retirement, Amy is dedicated to working with her clients in areas that make a much larger impact in retirement such as retirement income and farming operations succession strategies.

     Happily married, Amy and her husband Justin are blessed with a beautiful son, Bowan. Amy and Justin are also active members in their church community and enjoy spending time outdoors with their golden doodle, Raider. As a dedicated athlete, Amy has run marathons and ultra-marathons and is a NPC Figure competitor.

    Sean P. Smith

    Private Wealth Manager

    Sean graduated from Mulvane High School in 1995 and went on to join the military where he served in a Special Operations unit as an Army Ranger. Following his time in the service, Sean returned to the Wichita area and worked in construction for many years.

     Sean received his insurance license in 2008 and worked for a national insurance company specializing in Health and Life insurance. Since joining the Schreck team in 2013, Sean has provided one-on-one help to thousands of people across the state of Kansas in order to ensure that his clients are receiving the highest quality health benefits available at an affordable price.

     A client once told Sean, "We can't go back and create a new beginning, but we can create a new ending.” He uses this to fuel his passion for helping people near and in retirement focusing on strategies that relieve the concern many people have of potentially outliving their assets. Sean takes great pride in helping people find the best solution for their unique personal situation.

    Sean and his wife, Alyson, live in Rose Hill. Together they enjoy spending time at the lake, road trips, golfing, and watching football. Between them, they have four children: Brexton, Koby, Braylen, and Brynlee.

    Shane J. Pfingsten, MBA

    Private Wealth Manager

    Shane grew up in Clearwater, KS where he learned the Midwestern values of hard work, integrity and life-long relationships. As a proud Shocker, he graduated from WSU in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in Business, and in 2000, he completed his MBA from Baker University.

    Shane joined Schreck Financial Group in 2013, transitioning from his previous position in the medical supply field. He spent eight years building relationships with medical professionals, helping them with issues related to medical devices, wound management, and effective immunizations. Prior to that, he spent nine years with Boeing in project management working on large, long-term government contracts.

    Shane is passionate about helping people realize goals they might have never thought achievable. He believes that people work very hard over a life time to build wealth and it is important to make sure to protect it.

    Shane and his wife Dana, have three kids, Caden, Brysen, and Emersyn, who keep them very busy, and they absolutely love watching them grow. In his free time he enjoys tackling DIY projects, watching the kids play sports, and spending time with friends and family.

    Cloyd W. Kerr IV

     

    Originally from Los Angeles, as a child Cloyd had the unique opportunity of living and traveling abroad with his family in Belgium and a number of other European countries. In 1991, Cloyd joined the Air Force and was stationed at the McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas. Cloyd's military life led him to serve the community as an officer with the Kansas Department of Corrections. With his disciplined roots in the military along with his passion of helping others, Cloyd began his journey in the insurance industry in 2004, joining a national insurance company specializing in health and life insurance.

    Since then, Cloyd has owned and operated his own insurance agency where he specialized primarily in assisting retirees and business owners address their financial concerns. With over a decade in the industry, Cloyd has not only acquired a strong understanding of the challenges those near and in retirement can face, but has also experienced first-hand what it takes to run a successful business.

    This broad experience is what ultimately led Cloyd to join forces with Schreck Financial Group where he can devote his time and effort to what he loves most - helping clients more effectively get where they want to be.

    When Cloyd is not busy at work, you will find him enjoying his free time with his 16 year old daughter, who has an appetite for barrel racing and rodeos. He also has a 6 year old golden-doodle, Benny, who he enjoys thoroughly.

     

    Jarrod J. Janzing

    Private Wealth Manager

    Jarrod graduated from Wichita State University in May 2013, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity and held various leadership roles during his time. He still supports the organization as an alumni by serving as an advisor on their Housing Corporation and Alumni Relations Committee.
     
    Jarrod started at Schreck Financial Group in June 2010 as a student intern and has been on board ever since. Throughout his time at Schreck Financial Group, Jarrod has served clients in a number of different roles including providing administrative support, client benefit reviews for healthcare related coverage for those in retirement, and served as a member of the client case design team. Upon graduation, he became a full-time adviser working to help clients with a number of issues including insurance planning, retirement income strategies, healthcare related benefits, investment management solutions, and tax efficient wealth protection and distribution strategies. His perspective is instrumental in helping him clearly understand clients' concerns and how to identify ways to help them avoid irreversible mistakes so that they are better able to enjoy their retirement without having to sacrifice the lifestyle they've grown accustomed to.   He strives to help clients meet their financial goals by utilizing our team based planning approach to help ensure clients make appropriate long-term decisions in light of their personal goals and values. Jarrod enjoys helping those of all ages take the proper steps to be able to enjoy their retirement.
     
    Jarrod was born and raised in Wichita where he resides with his wife, Danielle, and their two sons Beckham and Rowan. Jarrod enjoys coaching sports for his two sons, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Jarrod and Danielle are also active members at Christ the King Church, in Wichita.

    Justin T. Light

     

    Born in Jefferson City, Missouri and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Justin graduated from Southeast High School in 2001. While attending college, Justin quickly found he enjoyed working with people. After working for seven years at his family's wholesale HVAC company and four years with Sprint Corporate, Justin developed a passion for helping others. He also found he had a growing desire to be part of something bigger than himself. In 2012, he decided to pursue that mission by enlisting in the Kansas Air National Guard and was deployed to Southwest Asia in 2015.

    Having grown up in a family owned business, Justin has a strong background in client service that goes along well with his disciplined military experience. Justin found success early in 2016 when he started in the financial services business with an industry leading company. In early 2017 he sought out and was asked to join Schreck Financial Group where he could fulfill his passion of helping others in an independent team based planning environment. By taking the time to clearly understand each client's unique goals and concerns, he is able to help them achieve their goals as they prepare for and ultimately thrive in their retirement.

    Justin and his wife Lauren reside in Wichita and have two sons and a daughter. They enjoy outdoor activities with their children and supporting anything local to Wichita. Justin is an avid golfer and sports fan.
