Becky Yager

Office Manager

Becky attended Emporia State and started working for Don Schreck in 1985. As the Office Manager for Schreck Financial, Becky has a wide range of responsibilities that compliment her long tenure in the position. Becky is the person in the office who always knows who needs to be called to get things done. She has loved getting to know our clients over the years and helping them with whatever their needs may be.

She has been married to Dalvin for 32 years, and they have two daughters: Aurora, a student finishing up school at the University of Kansas, and Ariel, who just started her career as a teacher in Coffeyville, Kansas. 

Outside of work she enjoys reading, watching college basketball, and taking trips to Disney World. She served as the assistant Debate/Forensics coach for Derby High School where they had the opportunity to host the National Forensic League National Tournament in 2007. She also served her church on the finance committee at Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby.

Kelly Gordon

Accounting and Administrative Support

Kelly started in the industry in 1991 and joined Schreck Financial in 1994. She enjoys helping build strong relationships with clients by helping handle service issues for the advisors. She takes pride in being able to do whatever is necessary to help agents help clients meet their financial goals. She is an advocate of planning for the future and knows the earlier you start, the better off you will be.

She’s been married to her husband Chris for 23 years and they have four children: Peter and Aspen are students at Kansas University, and Elijah and Noah attend Andover High School. They also have two fun loving dogs: Smoky and Jack.

In her free time she enjoys watching Elijah and Noah participate in soccer, wrestling, and band. An avid Shocker fan, she has followed the team to see them win the NIT tourney in NYC and also was there to see them cut down the nets in LA at the Sweet 16 in 2013.

Outside of work, she is treasurer for American Youth Soccer Organization-East Wichita Region, a regional referee for AYSO, and is the treasurer for the Andover High School Trojan Soccer Team. She also is a weekly volunteer at Eastside Community Church caring for infants and toddlers, and monthly she volunteers at The Lord's Diner.

Rishanda Henderson

Client Service Specialist

Though originally from Wichita, Rishanda has had the opportunity to live in many different parts of the country. Before moving back to Wichita, she spent some time at the University of Arkansas Little Rock to pursue higher education. During college she took advantage of several unique opportunities to immerse herself in various cultural settings. Not only did she spend time on an Osage Indian Reservation studying indigenous life, she was also fortunate to spend a summer in Cochabamba, Bolivia studying ethnographic studies at Universidad Privada Boliviana (Private University of Bolivia). Upon graduating in 1995 with a degree in Anthropology, she started her career.

In 2014 she joined SFG as a Client Service Specialist. She’s been in the insurance and financial advisory profession since 1991 and has always been told that she has a natural ability to foster strong client relationships. She has a knack and a passion for helping others and has been told by many people that her enthusiasm is contagious.

Her free time is consumed with her two children: her son Myles (14) and her daughter Ella (11). They both attend St. Thomas Aquinas school and hope to eventually, like their mom, graduate from Kapaun Mt. Carmel. They keep her running to and from golf tournaments, basketball and football games, and swim meets. When not playing her role as taxi driver, you will find her finishing up a graphic design project she has in the works or in her yard attempting to keep her flowers and garden alive.

Lainie Stark

Administrative Assistant to Bruce Schreck

Lainie graduated from Wichita State with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She started working with Bruce in 2000.

She has seen first-hand the impact of what we do. She is passionate about life insurance because her father died when she was just 12 years old and she credits his life insurance policy for saving their quality of life at that time. It allowed her “stay at home” mom time to slowly re-enter the work force.

Lainie handles all aspects of administration and client service support for Bruce and at times for Schreck as a whole. She enjoys that in her job, no two days are ever the same.

Lainie has two awesome kids, Grace (11) and Blake (8) and a 5 year old puppy, Lucky. In her free time she plays with her kids, works in the yard, spends time with friends, and reads.  She also volunteers for the Girl Scouts and helps out at school in the classroom whenever she can.

Tabitha Webb

Administrative Assistant to Brian Schreck

Tabitha grew up in Augusta and graduated from Augusta High in 2001 receiving two scholarships in art. She started working at Prairie State Bank while in high school, and then went on to work for Fidelity Bank.

She started as Brian’s assistant in 2005 and earned a life insurance license in 2006. She handles all aspects of administration and client service issues for Brian Schreck.

She enjoys being in a role that allows her to be able to help people, making sure they receive knowledgeable and friendly customer service. She loves the fact that her work is never boring, and she feels that planning for retirement is very important.

Tabitha has two cute little girls: Raegan and Mckenzie. She enjoys traveling abroad, camping, working out, yoga and hanging out with friends and family.  She completed the “Tough Mudder” in 2013 and Conquer the Guantlet in 2014.

Abby Baker

Client Service Manager

Growing up in Wisconsin, Abby attended West De Pere High and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. With a background in business accounting and event management, she joined SFG in 2010.

In support of Ron, John, and the advisors on their team, she handles a number of responsibilities. Not only is she is in charge of handling all customer service issues for all areas of our business, but she also handles all licensing, contracting, and accounting for the team.

She enjoys working closely with the people we help and takes pride in her role helping people meet their financial and life goals. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, movies, spending time with family and friends, and reading.

Donisha Ross

Client Relations Coordinator

Prior to joining the Schreck Financial Group in 2019, Donisha worked as a Career Specialist for the Barton School of Business at Wichita State University. She brings 12 years of course instruction to the team and has aided in the development of the company’s Workplace Education Program. Donisha is passionate about teaching and loves that she can utilize her experience to educate others on ways to be financially successful in the future.

In addition to working full-time, she also recently obtained a Master of Business Administration from WSU, graduating with a 3.8 GPA.

Donisha married to Lance and they have one son, Elijah. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and taking photos.

Gregg Poindexter

Operations Manager

Gregg enrolled at the University of Phoenix in February 2011, as an adult learner, to meet his goal of obtaining a college degree. In September 2014, he achieved his goal by graduating with a 3.9 GPA from the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Management degree.

Gregg joined Schreck Financial Group as a Case Designer in February 2020 and has been in the industry since 1999. As the operations manager, Gregg enjoys partnering with the back-office and Advisor team to help ensure a productive and positive client experience. Before joining Schreck Financial, he managed a team of staff within the Back Office Division at the home office of a large Financial Services Company based in Overland Park, Kansas.  During his 21-year tenure at the previous Firm, he held various positions in the Back Office Division for seventeen years and four years as an RFP Writer within the Institutional Marketing Division. Gregg is FINRA Series 6 licensed and has completed the CFA Institute Investment Foundations program.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his husband, Chris. Some of their favorite vacation activities include snow skiing, taking cruises, and relaxing on various beaches.
